Some things to keep in mind regarding waiting lists:

1. There is NO wait list application fee (yeah!)
2. SPP school year begins the Tuesday after Labor Day. Waiting times can vary greatly between seasons. Most openings happen in the Fall, however we do enroll all year.  Our waiting list can be a very little or a very long wait, so please call for availability.  Placements for Fall  begin on MARCH 16th and are generally complete by April 15th so make sure to get your applications in as early as possible to avoid disappointment.  No information  regarding your child's wait list number or possible placement can be released before March 16, sorry!
3. Siblings of currently enrolled students take priority over any new children and do not need to be on the same waiting list for new students.
4. We always try to keep a balanced class (boys v. girls); therefore your girl, for example, may get a spot before your friends son who was on the wait list longer. Simple fact is wait lists rarely go in order.
5. The more flexible you can be in choosing days, the faster and easier it will be to fit your child in. Be as flexible as you can without compromising your needs. If you need Tu/Th - not M/W/F - then please state this on the application.
6. When your child’s name comes up on the wait list:
   • you will be contacted via all contact info on the application (all phone #’s & email)
   • contact must be made within 3 business days or you will be removed from the list.
   • After you make contact an appointment must be scheduled at this time (usually within one week) on a week day convenient to you. Appointments are usually at 10:30am, however other arrangements can be made if this time is impossible.
